So... today seemed like it was really long, but I know it wasn't. Possibly something to do with the fact that I got a full 7 hours of sleep last night, and that's alot for my body.
Reason I got 7 hours: A bunch of us from canoe school were going to go see a movie last night (Too Fast Too Furious) as we had no other plans, so we went to dinner and made our way to the theatre.

Only to find that the only show was at 10:30. Even the only show of Finding Nemo was at 10:10.

So as Jackie had to be home at 10:30, we came here to watch a movie (which ended up being the hunt for red october) that patrick and I for some reason had remembered as being reasonably short. But it wasn't very, so I dropped Jackie home before it was over, and took Batman to the ttc station, and we watched the rest of the movie. And then it was almost midnight, and people wanted to sleep in, so they stayed here. 2 on the pullout and one on the cot, which I jammed between the pullout and my bed.
And because people were here, I couldn't be my usual procrastinate-y self and stay up on the computer doing nothing.
So I went to bed early.

Aaaanyway, Madrid story number one:
I wasn't feeling well one day, and while liz and my mom were at the internet cafe I went back to the hotel to lie down.
Liz gave me her room card and I left.
After I was gone, liz put her purse down under her chair.
As they were walking out of the door, liz realized that she didn't have her purse, but thought she had given it to me.
When she was out, a man said to her, in spanish, "Is this your purse?".
Liz said..."Yeees...".
Apparently someone had snatched her purse, dropped it in his bag and ran out.
An undercover policeman just outside stopped him because he was running, emptied his bag, and found liz's purse. Which was then returned.
Liz had to be questionned and give a spanish statement to the spanish police, and she's brought a copy home.
Apparently the undercover policeman was hot.

Well.
I'm back from Madrid.
It was a pretty good trip. Really warm (I'm talking minimum 40 degrees high every day) but fun. I never want to visit that many monastaries again though.

Anyway, I'm sorry I've not been posting very much lately(sorry sorry sorry vim...), but I've just not been in the mood. I often blog when I'm angry, or happy, or... just something remarkable, but lately when I've been home I've just been blah. My attention span has degraded to that of a four-year-old and although I'll think of things I want to write while I'm out the idea is entirely gone by the time I get home.
For example:
Before I left for madrid I went to some really fun shows. One night we went to the weakerthans (an early show) with lauren, and then claire and I continued on to see the flairs, who we'd already seen earlier in the week. That was an amazing night though. Good shows, fun times...
And there was the show in burlington we went to (before that). Great day. We (figured out by now I mean claire and I?) went to an instore at the mapleview mall, then drove around all day, then went to the silverstein cd release at the music centre. It was HUGE. And I got to see tay, which is always fun.
And I drove up to Guelph one night to hang out with robyn, and we went to a show and then to visit someone at the trash and then got chinese food at sun sun's. And then went back, watched the smallville finale and bend it like beckham... sleep was discarded, as I had to be home before my grandparents left in the morning. That was an entertaining night. Robyn's brother was convinced we were drunk (because according to him "I had a pepsi means something entirely different").

Yeah. So I've been up to stuff.
But its nothing particularly interesting.
I'll tell stories about madrid soon though.
I've got a couple.

Well. I'm at my grandparents.
We sat around for a while, and ate dinner early (I was huuuungry) and then guess what I did.
Seriously, guess.

So I came upstairs (in their house) and sat my bum down at the computer.
And went on msn and checked my e-mail.
I'm so horribly technology addicted that it should probably bother me. But it doesn't, really.
Anyway, I'm off to go play some solitaire (on the computer) with my grandma. I can beat her at it (best out of 3... or something) you'll see...
